Meet Malin – the Founder of Gro Gro®
After having her first child, Malin faced the challenge that most new mums experience. She wanted the best food for her daughter but was often in situations where she couldn’t prepare food at home and had to deal with the guilt of resorting to packaged baby food.

After having two kids, published a baby food book and having multiple courses for parents on how to cook your own baby food, the realisation came to Malin (Nutritionist). What everyone wanted and needed was a fresh, high quality baby food, ready to serve.
Antler, the early stage startup VC, backs Gro Gro in a pre-seed funding round
Antler select Gro Gro to add to their portfolio of fast-growing ventures. Gro Gro Co-founders pitch the company to circa 600 investors at Antler Demo Day on 12 June.
Orkla Venture invests in Gro Gro®
The investment arm of Orkla, the leading Nordic FMCG player, acquire a minority share in Gro Gro®.
Michelle Sørum joins the team as the CFO
Michelle brings 20+ experience in finance, strategy and operations to the Gro Gro team. She has a passion for food and lives on a produce farm. She is also mommy to a 7 and 2-year old.
Gro Gro® launch in Scandinavia
Norway is first out through the online retailer Kolonial.no in October 2020. During February 2021 the next market launch is in Sweden through the online retailer Mathem. At the same time Gro Gro® enter the physical retail chain Coop Obs in Norway, where they are building in fridge in the baby food aisle.
